Coastal GasLink is inviting local job seekers and prospective subcontractors to join us at our Mackenzie Economic Summit, taking place Monday, August 26 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m at the Mackenzie Recreation Centre. Attending residents will have the chance to connect with members of the Coastal GasLink team along with two of our prime contractors, SA Energy and Surerus Murphy Joint Venture (SMJV), to learn more about employment opportunities on the Project. SA Energy and SMJV are looking to fill positions needed throughout the Project, including labourers, truck and bus drivers, operators and more.

We welcome anyone looking for employment and contracting opportunities on the Coastal GasLink Pipeline Project. Coastal GasLink will create nearly 2,500 high quality, well-paying jobs during the life of the Project, with peak employment on the project is expected through 2020 – 2023. We’re committed to providing contracting opportunities to qualified Indigenous businesses, local contractors and suppliers along the pipeline route. There will be opportunities for B.C. businesses during three phases — pre-construction, construction and operations. Employment opportunities on the Project will include a variety of responsibilities, skill levels and trade specialization, with prime contractors employing the workforce directly.
