Coastal GasLink strives for transparency and accuracy in our reporting, and we recognize the B.C. Environmental Assessment Office’s (EAO) important role in holding us to those high standards.
We made an error in the process of submitting a response to the EAO, where conflicting reports were provided. Together with our prime contractor, we have taken immediate action to ensure accurate documentation is being captured daily and additional records management resources are in place to meet our reporting requirements.
While the correct information was already publicly available through past EAO inspection records, we regret this error. This has been clarified with the EAO and we will continue to work with our prime contractor to do better.
At 87% complete, we are focused on safely completing this critical piece of energy infrastructure that will enable Canada’s first direct path for LNG exports to our allies.
